I Heart Characters: Week 8!

“I Heart Characters! is a weekly meme hosted by Dani @ Perspective of a Writer to showcase our book blogger love for characters! Each week she’ll supply a topic and you’ll supply the character. Post on whatever day suits you, about characters from whatever media you love (books, movies, K-dramas, television, manga, anime, webtoons, whatever!) and link up on Thursday so YOU and others can blog hop and share the character love. ♡”

It’s Thursday again and this week has been crazy busy! This weeks topic was…

A Character Who Flies (A creature or a human with wings… even someone who is peppy and upbeat in the extreme… if they take to the sky in any way they count!)

My character?

Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon

This was an easy choice for me this week. I was actually getting ready to look at the topic and decided to put on the movie, and well, I thought it was a sign. Now, I’m not a cat person. Never have been. But Toothless definitely reminds me of a cat and he’s adorable.

He follows the light on the ground.

He only likes certain types of fish (I mean really, cats are picky). But it seems like he’s always hungry.

I love how silly he is. Like trying to smile.

However, like a dog, he will do anything to protect Hiccup. As soon as he was in danger, Toothless was on alert and went to save him.

Plus, really, how cool would it be to have a dragon for a pet?! Especially one like Toothless.

Can you think of another character that flies? There are a lot of them! Are you excited for How to Train Your Dragon 3?

It was so hard to narrow down the gifs I used. He’s so stinking cute lol! I completely agree about HTTYD3. I can’t believe it’ll be 5 years since #2 came out.

LOVE Toothless Anna! ❤️ I also noticed how like a cat he is and its just adorable… And its so great how Toothless is actually disabled… I imagine children who are also disabled are so happy to find a character they can love that is relatable! And its a great way to teach children to accept everyone…. Besides I just love the pirates in this movies! GAH! Such a great choice.

Thanks Dani! He’s such a unique character and it’s hard not to love him lol. I completely agree. When Hiccup loses his leg and they make a way for him to still ride Toothless, it shows anyone can do anything.
